Your communication board and visual schedule for daily routines
Kyros is your communication board and visual schedule for daily routines. It is designed to support autistic and neurodivergent people, along with families, caregivers, teachers, and support workers who help create calm, predictable days. Kyros brings two familiar supports into one simple app: a digital communication board for expressing needs, actions, and choices, and a visual schedule for planning, following, and completing daily routines. Instead of using a separate calendar and a separate communication board, Kyros connects them. Activities from the communication board can become scheduled routine items, helping users understand what is happening now, what comes next, and what the day looks like.

The Challenge
For a person with autism, the world feels better when there is a structure and schedule. Communication boards feels more natural compared to other modes of communication. But in the heat of a moment, these needs aren't separate—they are one. Yet most families and schools still juggle a separate calendar, scheduler, routine list, todo list, and a separate communication board. Switching between them adds cognitive load, breaks predictability, and makes it harder to link "I need this" with "this happens at this time." Caregivers spend extra energy keeping two systems in sync while people with autism face more anxiety when plans change.
Our Solution
Kyros combines a visual scheduler and communication board in one calm, low-cognitive-load digital app. Research shows that visual supports and structured approaches can improve emotional regulation and reduce stress-related difficulty in autism. We built Kyros around that evidence and real caregiver feedback. Create visual action tiles with photos from real places and routines, tap to show and speak with text-to-speech, schedule those same actions across day, week, or month views, and follow the day from a home screen that shows the current activity, what's next, and today's plan. Because no two autistic individuals are the same, Kyros adapts to each person's strengths, preferences, and pace.
A simple, streamlined process
Create visual action tiles with images, icons, labels, and colors—including photos from real places, people, objects, or routines
Tap a tile in view mode to show it clearly and speak it aloud with text-to-speech
Build daily routines by scheduling familiar visual actions on the calendar (one-time or recurring)
View routines in day, week, or month formats and follow the day as a simple visual checklist
See the current activity, next activity, and today's plan from the home screen
Use reminders, a panic button for calming support, and offline routine data on the device
